Is a Brochure Website a Smart Choice

       for Your Small Business, Professional

       Practice, or Nonprofit?

   MULTIPLE CHOICE:

If you want an EXCELLENT WEBSITE on a TIGHT BUDGET,

your best bet is to:

   (A) Hire a big-name web development firm (cha-ching)

   (B) Hire a freelance web designer (sometimes good, often not so good)

   (C) Do it yourself (yeah, right!)

   (D) Hire an experienced professional writer (who understands what
you're trying to do and can give you quality content on a professional-
   looking site
)

                                                             ANSWER: HIRE THE WRITER!

I may be your best bet for getting a quality website on a tight budget.

I am not a web designer.  I am not a graphic artist.  I am a professional commercial writer.  But let’s get something straight: A good website is first and foremost a writing project.

Have you noticed how many atrocious websites there are out there?  One reason: many websites are created by people who just can’t write.  THE WORDS MATTER, FOLKS!

“Content is King” is the most familiar maxim of the online world (since Bill Gates coined that phrase in a 1996 essay).  It is not enough to just have a website.  Even a site with lots of bells and whistles isn’t worth the bother without good content.

So you tell me:

Who’s going to write the quality content that will make your website a place worth coming to?

A designer, a graphic artist, some computer tech – or an experienced professional writer?

What many small businesses and organizations need is essentially an “online brochure”  --   a simple way to make up-to-date information conveniently available to your customers, clients, members, and prospects.

I write brochures for a living, so it was not a big leap to begin providing brochure websites to my clients.  If you’d like to know more about getting your BROCHURE WEBSITE for your business, organization, or nonprofit, click on one of the links below.
